Air Scouts serving Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton
Wellingborough District Scout Council are delighted to introduce your Air Scout Leaders. The troop meets at Sywell Aerodrome and is currently Northamptonshires only Air Scout Troop; welcoming young people with links to Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering, Rushden and surrounding areas.
Clint – Air Scout - Troop Leader
Originally from Oxfordshire, Clint was the Chief Observer with the UK Primary War Headquarters. He now lives in with his family in Northamptonshire and works at a well-known supermarket. An avid supporter of the Royal British Legion, he believes we should remember our heroes past and present every day.
With the formation of 1st Sywell Air scouts Clint’s vision is to empower young people through the adventure of Scouting. Air Scouts will offer its members, “the chance to experience something different and the opportunity to challenge yourself whilst learning about Aviation and associated skills, perhaps opening new doors of opportunity in real life.”
Adrian - Group Scout Leader
With an immense amount of experience in Scouting, Adrian is our 'Boss'. As with the Red Arrows Adrian steers the Troop throughout the year organising our programme of events with his Leaders.
